Calling it an insult to crime victims and our law enforcement community, U.S. Senate candidate Chele Farley voiced her strong opposition to restoring voting rights to murderers and rapists. "In Washington, I would support federal legislation that permanently bars convicted murderers and rapists from voting," said Farley.
“Herman Bell murdered two cops and Senator Gillibrand thinks he should be allowed to vote, I think it's an insult to crime victims, our law enforcement community and all New Yorkers," said Farley.
She added, “Cop-killers like Herman Bell don’t belong out on the street let alone in the voting booth.”
Concluded Farley, “Nikolas Cruz killed 19 young high school students in Parkland and Kirsten Gillibrand believes he should someday have the right to vote, I find that repulsive.”
