Jerusalem, Israel - "Throughout the past several days in Israel, I have gained a profound appreciation for the grave security concerns Iran poses to Israel, which has deepened my resolve to advocate for American withdrawal from the disastrous Nuclear Deal and the return of tough penalties for Iran's continued threats against the US and our allies."
"Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terror, a destabilizing force in the Middle East and poses an existential threat to our ally Israel. The Iran Nuclear Deal, negotiated by President Obama and supported by my opponent Kirsten Gillibrand, is an affront to the free world and a giveaway to the dark forces of radical Islamic terrorism.
"I wholeheartedly support President Trump’s decision to resume sanctions against Iran and withdraw from the Nuclear Deal. We simply cannot allow Iran to advance its nuclear capability under any circumstances."
"The regime in Iran does not want a peaceful nuclear program and has no intention of honoring the agreement, as evidenced by information presented last week by Prime Minister Netanyahu that terms of the deal had already been violated. The threat not only to Israel, but to the United States, is simply unacceptable."
