FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 27, 2018
New York, New York - U.S. Senate candidate Chele Farley (R, C, Reform) today issued the following statement in response to the announcement that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will retire:
“The job of all senators is to confirm judicial nominees. As the next senator from New York, I intend to do my job, which is to fairly consider any and all candidates nominated by the president, unlike my opponent who has already decided to block all nominees regardless of how qualified they may be.
“Once again, Senator Gillibrand shows that she won’t do her job because she’s too busy holding this nomination hostage while she runs for president in 2020. New Yorkers and America deserve better.”
Chele Farley is an outsider with over 25 years of experience in the private sector. She is the Republican, Conservative and Reform Party candidate for U.S. Senate. Farley lives in New York City with her husband Richard and their three sons. For more information about U.S. Senate candidate Chele Farley, please visit www.CheleFarleyforSenate.com.
